This cake wall is made from 30 vanilla cake bricks. The bricks were baked in custom made aluminum pans (cut, bent and pop riveted at kwartzlab) It’s assembled with buttercream mortar icing.

The whole cake took 7 hours to assemble on-site which you can watch in this time lapse of only 2 minutes!

This cake installation was made for my art exhibition at kwartzlab in January of 2011. It was to celebrate the one year anniversary of the “art wall” where local artists are invited to show their works for one month at a time in the lab.

You can listen to a radio interview I did with CKWR 98.5 FM in Kitchener Waterloo about the exhibition here.

This is awesome! A work of brick art. And you look so young for such creative work.
